Absentee Voting and Voter Registration

February 18, 2013 0 Comments

Absentee voting is underway for the April 2, 2013 election, not just for Creve Coeur but all St. Louis County municipalities.

Absentee voting ballots and voter registration is handled by the St. Louis County Board of Elections and their office is located at 12 Sunnen Dr., Suite 128 in Maplewood.

Absentee ballot requests must be mailed or faxed to the Election Board no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday March 27th.  The St. Louis County Election Board office fax number is 314-615-1998.

You also may submit an absentee vote at the Election Board office in Maplewood up until 5 p.m. Monday, April 1.

I urge you to double check and make sure you are registered to vote. If you are not registered, do it today!

If you have moved, the Election Board needs your change of address by Wednesday March 27 to ensure that you receive a postcard notification of your polling place and that you are listed in the polling place binder.  If you did not notify them of your address change you need to call their office at (314) 615-1822 to determine your new polling place.

If you will be using mail to send in your voter registration, it must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, March 27. You may register to vote at the Election Board office – the deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday March 27.

Make sure you’re registered to vote and to vote April 2.

An easier way to register is at any driver’s license office or State of Missouri agency office. The two driver’s license offices closest to Creve Coeur are the Creve Coeur license office at 12943 Olive, or the Olivette office at 9652 Olive.

Make sure you’re a good citizen and vote April 2.  I sincerely ask for your vote for City Council – Ward 1
